DDS Founder Bill Donigan.
William Donigan DDS, MPH graduated with a BS from Marquette University, then a DDS from the University of Illinois, Chicago, Illinois in 1983. He established a private practice in Osage City, Kansas practicing dentistry there until 2007.
Also in 2007, he was hired as Dental Director at Gaston Family Health Services in Gastonia, North Carolina, Now Kinterga Health, where he oversees seven fixed sites and three mobile dental units and a staff of over 100 dental personnel.
In 2010 Dr. Donigan was named NNOHA’s Clinician of the Year and also named Gaston counties “Public Health Hero”. In 2016 was named “Outstanding Provider of the Year” by the North Carolina Community Health Center Association. In 2021, Dr Donigan received the John McFarland Leadership award from NNOHA for his efforts to promote tele-dentistry and expanded functions for dental hygienists.
In 2012 he joined Safety Net Solutions and later D4 Practice Solutions as an expert advisor. Dr. Donigan is passionate about Public Health Dentistry and creating collaboration with other organizations that support “unified dental care for all”.
